What is wrong with WiFi? My mac is always on wifi. Hell, the only time I use a cable is for none-wifi computers and my PS3, for gaming.

secondly, you can have your own collection of music and movies. If it is anything like my own ipod touch, then you just add it to iTunes. I have a ripped 300, and some music from youtube on it.

As for its not for work, well, it is. You can work of it fine. Some one else blogged about going to work with his iPad. Commenting on how easy it is to change his files then send them to people using E-mail.

"Closed system", you say? My Mac runs *nix, my iPhone is jailbroken. Considering iPhone has a gigantic market, there are tons of jailbreak-only apps already developed.

Apple makes some great products, and some great products that are for people with excess money to throw away (Air, iPad). They keep making a profit, so I say more power to them.

It's so obvious to me now. This scathing cynicism has really shown me the light- why would anyone want something different than what the author wants? You'd have to be some kind of narrow minded idiot...
