Are you sure other comments (due to 1000s of sales) are not similarly flagged?<br />2. Having parts that were impossible to identify is inexcusable. I don&#39;t mind ignoring the datasheets, but just saying &#39;thermister&#39; gives no information.<br /><br />I don&#39;t think much thought went into the kit, and I don&#39;t think it was tried on *any* first time users. I&#39;ve had to recommend arduino kits to friends, and I&#39;ve steered them away from the Maker Shed. For a first-time arduino users, it is utterly frustrating. An advanced arduino user would know which parts he wants, and will avoid such kits anyway. I&#39;m not sure what the target audience for this is, really.<br /><br />Anyway, perhaps I was too frustrated with the kit, and thus excessively negative in my review. Even so, I stand by my view that this kit would turn people off the arduino platform rather than encourage them towards it. We have sold 1000’s of these kits, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. However, we do understand that the kit can be improved, and we should have had all the data-sheets at the time of the purchase.<br /><br />The RGB LED has been replaced in our new kits. They now include the “standard” RGB LEDs. Both versions (common Cathode &amp; common Anode) work, but the original RGB LED supplied with the kit did not use the most common pin-out. Sorry for any confusion.<br /><br />We do not censor, however we do have an offensive word filter applied to comments. We took the filter down a notch (it flagged “ass” in “assuming”). Crazy, but true. We have now made your review live. Sorry for the delay. This was a legitimate oversight.<br /><br />About documentation on the parts? Guilty as charged, and we apologize. We really felt that the data would have been easily obtained via a search engine, but it just wasn&#39;t the case. The manufacturer was VERY late to supply us with most of the component data.
