Its funny, in parallel, independently, we decided to use blogger and found you had done the same.<BR/><BR/>Anyways, rebates are about price differentiation. All the information they ask is merely to raise the opportunity cost of sending in the rebate form. That way, you can decided, if the time you spend on the rebate is worth the money it saves you. <BR/><BR/>Of course, there is quite a scam in the way they are processed, which is outside your control. However, this only increases the time and hence your time.<BR/><BR/>However, thats all it is. Then it probably does not end up losing any money at all -- It has won on volumes what it lost on a lower price for 50% of the customers.
